Talk by Consul General: "La France Aujourd'hui"

Join the us as we welcome the Consul General of France, François Penguilly, for a presentation and discussion about the upcoming French presidential and legislative elections and recent protests around the country that started with the Gillet Jaunes, continued with protests against police violence, and have lately been directed against the COVID-19 health passport. Consul General of France

François Penguilly sert au ministère des Affaires étrangères depuis 2001. Il a occupé successivement les fonctions de rédacteur à la direction des Nations Unies et des Organisations internationales, de premier secrétaire à l'Ambassade de France à Alger et de consul général adjoint à Jérusalem.

Il a ensuite servi à la direction des ressources humaines, puis comme numéro deux à l'Ambassade de France aux Emirats arabes unis. 

Né en 1975, François Penguilly est diplômé de I'Institut d'études politiques de Paris, de l'Institut national de langues et civilisations orientales de Paris et ancien élève des Instituts régionaux d'administration. Il parle l'anglais, l'espagnol et l'arabe.
