Teaching Languages as Global Languages
How do we teach second languages from a global perspective? What does it mean to go global in the L2 classroom? What variety should--or gets--taught? What do these questions imply for textbooks?
This session is for language instructors or students who want to think about two emblematic case studies in varieties of language in teaching. Two experienced instructors will present case studies from their home language unit. Discussion to follow. All are welcome!
