Sylvia Grove
Sylvia Grove received her B.A. in French and Creative Writing from Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, PA, after which she served as an assistante d’anglais at the Lycée Gustave Eiffel in Talange, France. At Pitt, she focuses on questions of food and identity politics in 20th century French literature. She received her M.A. in French Language and Literature from the University of Pittsburgh in 2014 and her PhD in 2018. She has taught at several institutions in Pennsylvania, and is currently visiting assistant professor at Ursinus College.
