Casey is a current student in the PhD with M.A. en route program in French Studies. She plans to focus on the refugee crisis in France and the relationship between France and Algeria. She is currently studying for her M.A. exam in January and while studying throughout the semester she hopes to achieve funding for a podcast she started in 2021 exploring the reality of how migrant policies manifest in France.
