Karen Woolstrum

Karen Woolstrum (she/elle) is an M.A. candidate and holds a Bachelor of Science in French Education from Youngstown State University and a Digital Media Certificate from the University of Pittsburgh.  She has studied at the Institute for American Universities in Aix-en-Provence and the Centre de Linguistique Appliquée in Besançon and later taught English at the Collège Fernand-Lechanteur in Caen, France through the Franco-American Commission for Education Exchange and the University of Akron.

 

Her interests for further research include écriture feminine and film and digital media.  Her most recent research in French literature has examined care work, counterforces of power and ironic feminism.
