The Italian Program is delighted to announce a lecture by the novelist and educator Amara Lakhous (Professor in the Practice, Department of Italian Studies, Yale University) on Monday, October 21, 2024 at 5pm in Barco Law Building, Room 111. Audience Q&A will follow Prof. Lakhous’ lecture.

Congratulations to Angel Cramer, summer 2024 Brackenridge Fellow

Angel Cramer (History and ESC) is the recipient of a 2024 Brackenridge Fellowship for her project on “The Convergence of Italian and American Politics in Interwar Pittsburgh,” under the direction of Prof. Lina Insana.

Lina Insana, Associate Professor of Italian, is part of a project with partners at the Senator John Heinz History Center and West Virginia University that received a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH).
